وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدْ خَانُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَمْكَنَ مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ |
Asad | : | And should they but seek to play false with thee75 - well, they were false to God [Himself] ere this: but He gave [the believers] mastery over them.76 And God is all-knowing, wise. |
Malik | : | But if they have treacherous designs against you, O Prophet, they have already shown treason against Allah. That is why He made them your captives. Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise. |
Mustafa Khattab | : | But if their intention is only to betray you ˹O Prophet˺, they sought to betray Allah before. But He gave you power over them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. |
Pickthall | : | And if they would betray thee, they betrayed Allah before, and He gave (thee) power over them. Allah is knower, Wise. |
Yusuf Ali | : | But if they have treacherous designs against thee (o apostle!) they have already been in treason against Allah and so hath He given (thee) power over them and Allah is He who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom. 1238 |
Transliteration | : | Wain yureedoo khiyanataka faqad khanoo Allaha min qablu faamkana minhum waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun |
