ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ

Asad : Call unto your Sustainer humbly, and in the secrecy of your hearts. Verily, He loves not those who transgress the bounds of what is right:
Malik : Call on your Rabb with humility and in private; for He does not love the transgressors.
Mustafa Khattab :

Call upon your Lord humbly and secretly. Surely He does not like the transgressors.

Pickthall : O mankind!) Call upon your Lord humbly and in secret. Lo! He loveth not aggressors.
Yusuf Ali : Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. 1033
Transliteration : OdAAoo rabbakum tadarruAAan wakhufyatan innahu la yuhibbu almuAAtadeena

Yusuf Ali 1033 In prayer, we must avoid any arrogance or show or loudness, or vanity of requests or words. If excess is condemned in all things, it is specially worthy of condemnation when we go humbly before Our Lord,-we poor creatures before the Omnipotent Who knoweth all.
