وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الْأَحْزَابُ |
Asad | : | and [the tribe of] Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan]: they all were leagued together, [as it were, in their unbelief:] |
Malik | : | So did Thamud, the people of Lut and those of Aiykah (the people of Median) - all divided themselves into factions; |
Mustafa Khattab | : | Thamûd, the people of Lot, and the residents of the Forest.1 These were ˹all˺ enemy forces. |
Pickthall | : | And (the tribe of) Thamud; and the folk of Lot, and the dwellers in the wood: these were the factions. |
Yusuf Ali | : | And Thamud and the People of Lut and the Companions of the Wood; such were the Confederates. 4161 4162 |
