قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ


Asad : Said [Abraham]: "Do you then worship, instead of God, something that cannot benefit you in any way, nor harm you?
Malik : At this Ibrahim said, "Do you then worship these deities, instead of Allah, who can neither benefit nor harm you?
Mustafa Khattab :

He rebuked ˹them˺, “Do you then worship—instead of Allah—what can neither benefit nor harm you in any way?

Pickthall : He said: Worship ye then instead of Allah that which cannot profit you at all, nor harm you?
Yusuf Ali : (Abraham) said "Do ye then worship besides Allah things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?
Transliteration : Qala afataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi ma la yanfaAAukum shayan wala yadurrukum
