فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ |
Asad | : | And [every time,] as soon as they began to feel Our punishing might, lo! they tried to flee from it- |
Malik | : | When they felt that Our punishment was coming, they took to their heels and fled. |
Mustafa Khattab | : | When the wrongdoers sensed ˹the arrival of˺ Our torment, they started to run away from their cities. |
Pickthall | : | And, when they felt Our might, behold them fleeing from it! |
Yusuf Ali | : | Yet when they felt Our Punishment (coming) behold they (tried to) flee from it. 2673 |
Transliteration | : | Falamma ahassoo basana itha hum minha yarkudoona |
