يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْ جَانِبَ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَىٰ


Asad : O children of Israel! [Thus] We saved you from your enemy, and [then] We made a covenant with you on the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai,63 and repeatedly sent down manna and quails unto you, [saying,]
Malik : O Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, We fixed a time to grant you The Taurat on the right side of Mount Tur and We sent down to you Manna (sweet dish) and Salva (quail meat)
Mustafa Khattab :

O Children of Israel! We saved you from your enemy, and made an appointment with you1 on the right side of Mount Ṭûr, and sent down to you manna and quails,2

Pickthall : O Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you on the holy mountain's side, and sent down on you the manna and the quails,
Yusuf Ali : O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy and We made a Covenant with you on the side of Mount (Sinai) and We sent down to you Manna and quails: 2601
Transliteration : Ya banee israeela qad anjaynakum min AAaduwwikum wawaAAadnakum janiba alttoori alaymana wanazzalna AAalaykumu almanna waalssalwa

Yusuf Ali 2601 Right side: Cf. xix. 52, and n. 2504, towards the end. The Arabian side of Sinai (Jabal Musa) was the place where Moses first received his commission before going to Egypt, and also where he received the Torah after the Exodus from Egypt.

 Manna (heavenly bread) and quails (chicken-like birds) sustained the children of Israel in the wilderness after they left Egypt.
